This role will partner with other members of the compensation team to effectively execute on our goals and objectives to ensure Target can attract, motivate and reward our talent.This role will manage our survey participation process as well as manage key components of our compensation processes including analysis, system configuration, and process administration. ·Managing compensation systems - including developing testing methodology, analyzing and recommending system enhancements, create reporting and developing configuration requirements that meet the changing business needs (30%)

·Own the survey participation process - including deciding on what surveys to participate in, managing the relationships with our vendors, participating in surveys and managing the market data system; and contributing analysis to the market review process (development of salary structures) (30%)

·Process ownership - partner with team to execute all areas of the Annual Performance & Pay Process; recommending opportunities for improvement and innovation (20%)

·Manage our compensation inbox and recommending improvements to better meet the needs of our clients (10%)

·Participate in compensation projects and complete ad hoc analysis for leaders (10%)

·Maintain close partners across compensation and HR on all compensation processes

Requirements

·Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

·0-2 years Compensation/Human Resource experience

·Demonstrated strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail

·Prioritizes and ability to multi-task in fast paced environment

·Excellent written and verbal communication with strong problem solving, organization, & presentation skills

·Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to gather, analyze and organize data

·Collaborates effectively with others

·Advanced Excel skills

·Highly motivated and results driven
