Working with a stellar brand, collaborating with premier marketers and publishers and providing support to several nationally renowned agencies.This position is responsible for maintaining and improving the health of our digital operations to establish and drive forward Target's accountability in the digital ecosystem.  They will be a decision maker and lead stakeholders in key business enhancements in relation to ad operations and third party verification and compliance. This vital role will interface closely with internal support teams and Target's agencies and technology partners. The ideal candidate for this role will have vast experience in ad operations and third party verification best practices and guidelines.Responsibilities:
  • Lead agency ad operations team in all trafficking and tagging procedures and workflow
  • Develop third party tagging guidelines for internal and external campaigns to ensure Target's policy is up to date with industry guidelines and best practices
  • Lead Target and Target's vendors in technology tests such as verification partners, brand study tagging, mobile ad servers, etc.
  • Develop and improve upon current QA process with all internal and external groups to ensure flawless ad operations
  • Drive forward Target's ad serving technologies across the organization to ensure clean and holistic measurement
  • Be a subject matter expert on all ad operation technologies; keep yourself and the team up to date on the ever-evolving media landscape through regular research and writing POVs
  • Be an expert and point person for discussions involving third party verification including knowledge of competitive partners in the industry such as Moat, IAS, Double Verify, et al
  • Test, troubleshoot, and certify viewability vendors: MOAT, IAS, ComScore, and Double Verify
  • Develop and implement viewability and fraud business strategy, including influencing Target's Bullseye Marketplace roadmap for transacting on viewable inventory and billing procedures
  • Stakeholder in conjunction with the Bullseye Marketplace team for positioning in the ad space with regard to viewability and fraud
  • Lead initiative for inventory compliance with the Trust and Accountability Group
  • Communicate new process changes to all necessary stakeholders and teams, documenting changes in process workflows as necessary
    • Serve as point of contact for troubleshooting new tools and/or processes with internal and external teams
  • Maintain and develop highly effective relationships across internal and external partners
  • B.S. and/or B.A. (4 years)
  • 7+  years' experience in digital ad operations and/or digital compliance preferred
  • Understanding and familiarity of tools in digital ecosystem (DSPs, DMPs, Ad servers, etc.)
  • Experience with a wide variety of creative/ad serving vendors (e.g. DCM, Sizmek, Celtra, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of HTML & Javascript
  • Experience with multiple third party verification partners such as Moat, IAS, Double Verify
  • Experience with various third party tag specs including brand studies, DMPs, etc.
  • Experience with troubleshooting discrepancies, creative tag setup issues, delivery issues and other issues from a technical support perspective
  • Experience in MS Office and Google Docs experience required, SmartSheet experience a plus
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and analytic skills
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects
  • Highly self-motivated and well-organized
  • Strong sense of urgency and demonstrates initiative 
  • High degree of professionalism and high sensitivity for confidentiality
  • Retail background experience preferred, either client side or agency exposure (desired)
