To accomplish our goals we are constantly striving to more efficiently scale our campaigns and capabilities. We are seeking a Product Owner to jump in and lead our Digital Identification strategy and Products for Target Guest Access, Target Media Network as well as enterprise wide.  These tools help shape campaigns and power measurement, fraud and other enterprise efforts.Are you constantly investigating how things work? As our Lead Product Owner for Digital Marketing you will serve as the bridge between business inputs and technology to provide homegrown capabilities that helps Target scale our marketing campaign efforts. You'll team up with a group of skilled marketers and engineers to help build advanced Identification tools that evolve as quickly as the Digital landscape. You will also lead and support other marketing tools with similar technology needs.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide Technology and Team leadership for digital identification products
  • Investigate, evaluate and test cutting edge tools, techniques and technologies that will power the future of Digital Identification
  • Accountable for the overall vision, execution and adoption of digital marketing tools, this includes the Data Science vision, Data Warehouse design and other data-centric solutions
  • Work within the product model by collaborating with key partners and stakeholders to manage inputs and solutions
  • Lead Data Science strategy, test and deploy models, graphs and other tools with the help of Target's Data teams
  • Understand data architecture and how APIs, Machine Learning and other progressive technology will evolve our products
  • Strategically evolve and grow existing products and services to constantly deliver better marketing business outcomes
  • Foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles
  • Research and recommend new tools, features and / or products in the ad tech space that will improve team and department efficiency
  • Gather product requirements, user flows, and documentation
  • Develop new ways for Target and Target's vendor partners to execute digital identification, this includes progressive ideation and negotiations with companies like Google, Pinterest and TV vendors
  • Identify immediate and/or upcoming user needs, then work with the team to develop a product plan that addresses them
  • Prioritize features and tasks for the product using internal tools (Scrum tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, etc.)
  • Manage collaboration and communication with other teams - both internal and external - to ensure teams have what they need and can work efficiently
  • Ensure stories clearly communicate the customer and stakeholder needs to meet key business objectives and strategies for the product
  • Maintain and refine backlog: create user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritize all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy
  • Encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints
  • Inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's directionREQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years in digital marketing in areas such as data design, business intelligence, campaign execution, machine learning or measurement
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager or equivalent
  • Experience in the ad tech ecosystem such as media planning tools, ad servers or ad operations
  • Experience with connecting data systems to Business consumers
  • Experience with Hadoop and Large data systems
  • Working experience with unstructured data,  Spark, Scala, R, Python and automation
  • Mastery of Agile environments
  • Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with breaking down complex subjects into tangible and relatable subjects
  • Highly detailed oriented with excellent organization skills while managing multiple ongoing projects
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Data Science or equivalent experience
