Humera is currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing candidate for our client in Hopkins, MN. Our client is is a grocery industry leader, serving customers across the country.
This is a contract opportunity through September.

The duties of this position will be to Source and negotiate products and services “not for resale” with the goal of reducing costs and increasing total value to the business.
Lead negotiation in assigned categories, manage negotiations with stakeholders. Evaluate and possess a comprehensive understanding of product and service cost composition (total cost of ownership) Business operations experience operations, distribution, logistics. High level of analytical and financial skills. Experience in negotiating contracts. Understanding/experience in retail operations is a plus.
IT Sourcing Manager contractor role is responsible for negotiating IT agreements.
Required skills include software and hardware sourcing experience, negotiation experience managing multiple projects at one time, contract experience understanding terms and conditions and the ability to effectively negotiate acceptable terms and conditions while partnering with our internal legal representatives.
Financially astute to understand and model various alternative approaches and positions to negotiate the most cost effective and optimal business solution.

  • Meet with technical clients

  • Present RFP results to clients, lead scoring process
  • Negotiate across viable solutions that meet established requirements
