Scope of role: Contractor, Employee Engagement for Corporate Reputation and Corporate Citizenship
Manage Samsung’s Days of Service, company matching gift program and ad hoc service opportunities Days of Service Work with Senior Manager to identify a third party organization to secure service to identify and secure service opportunities for employees in Samsung’s major office locations for bi-annual Days of Service (NJ, NYC, TX, CA) Manage relationship with third-party organization to ensure flawless execution Collaborate with internal communications to write and distribute communications informing employees of engagement programs and opportunities Collaborate with corporate communications to assist with the development of external communications about Samsung’s employee engagement programs Maintain and distribute relevant employee engagement toolkits and messaging to regional and home office employees Maintain relationships with vendors for promotional items, t-shirts, etc. Company Matching Gift Program Coordinate monthly summary processing, reports and totals Work with Operations team to ensure timely payment to third-party vendor Coordinate back-charge payments and field questions from Finance team Field employee questions regarding program Ad-hoc Service Opportunities Coordinate with local charity partners and internal departments to secure team building and other local opportunities that support Samsung’s good neighbor efforts Collect and summarize donation requests from local nonprofit partners Reporting Support the development of post-event and other summary reports that will gauge the success of employee engagement programs and inform future decision making Generate quarterly and annual reports of employee engagement programs Other relevant duties as needed
Duties & Responsibilities & % of time
Samsung’s nationwide Days of Service for New Jersey, New York City, Richardson and Silicon Valley, in addition to overseeing coordination efforts for regional and home office employees to ensure maximum participation rates and alignment with company pillars (80%) Company matching gift program (10%) Ad-hoc service opportunities (5%) Reporting (5%)
Qualifications: At least 3-5 years of prior corporate experience with large-scale employee engagement programs Impeccable attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at once Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders Works well independently and as part of team Excellent verbal and written communications skills Adapts well to a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
