Humera is looking for a Materials Buyer for our client in St. Paul, MN.
Our client is a company that has been committed to the design and manufacture of the highest quality surgical instrumentation.
This is a 10-12 week contract opportunity.
Duties:
  • General material purchasing duties
  • Ordering inventory in a timely, and regular basis using inventory software, production reports, customer PO's, and monthly inventory reports
  • Receives products in the inventory system after quality assurance inspections
  • Make inventory adjustments when required
  • Process inventory returns on a regular and timely basis
  • Attend inventory and production related meetings as required, reporting back to the team
  • Meeting with Purchasing Team on a regular basis, sharing updates
  • Process - File - Issue all requisitions and purchasing tasks as per policy in a timely manner
  • Keep internal staff advised on a timely basis of changes in delivery expectations through availability lists, and changing availability information
  • Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:
Education:
  • High School Graduate required
  • College Degree in a business field preferred
Experience:
  • 5 + Years in Purchasing/ Inventory Control
  • ISO knowledge and background required
  • Excellent communication, prioritizing and organizational skills required
  • 10 Key, computer and filing skills required
  • Knowledge in Accounting, Data Processing, MRP and Inventory Control preferred
  • Knowledge of KANBAN preferred
