JOIN US AS A DIRECTOR TARGET TECHNOLOGY - MAINFRAME MIGRATIONPRIMARY FUNCTIONResponsibility for ensuring Target exits its Mainframe installation and all applications and capabilities are migrated or replatformed by February 2019.  To accomplish this task, the incumbent will create a detailed roadmap of capability migration and retirement and collaborate directly with Managers and Directors with responsibilities towards this goal.  The incumbent's main lever is to quickly surface issues, risks and dependencies to a TTS VP steering committee to make decisions rapidly and ensure progress continues at the needed pace.  Responsible for managing relationships, strategic planning, mobilizing the teams, and communicating program progress.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.  Responsible for building a comprehensive program plan to migrate all applications off the Mainframe   in a condensed time period.
  • Identifies current state of work, key stakeholders, and dependencies
  • Analyzes dependencies to build the plan
  • Program plan will outline specific bodies of work and associated timelines for completion
  • Maintains and adjusts program plans as needed
2.  Identifies key decisions impacting program deliverables and drives toward resolution.
  • Proactively shares knowledge of risks and opportunities to program and mobilizes appropriate interventions.
  • Escalates issues appropriately, leveraging the right resources to ensure action is taken to get to the resolution.
3.  Communicates Mainframe plan and progress and implementation milestones to technical and non-technical key stakeholders including IT leadership, global partners, working team, and business leadership.

4.  Manages key functions and activities related to governance of program.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 12 plus years total work experience
  • Experience leading large-scale programs with a high velocity of change
  • Ability to lead independently and work with minimal supervision
  • Deep experience in solution portfolio teams, preferably with experiences in multiple portfolios
  • Ability to navigate amongst ambiguity
  • Experienced collaborator across many levels and partners
  • Ability to motivate teams and drive ambitious deliverables through others
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Understands and applies Target Technology Services best practices
