Humera is seeking a Provider Coordinator for our client located in Minnetonka, MN. Our client is a leader in providing medical insurance throughout Minnesota.

The person in this position is responsible for coordinating and collecting provider demographic information in order to assist our client in completing the requirements to be accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
This is a short term contract opportunity.


Duties:
  • Making a high volume of outbound calls to providers
  • Maintain positive provider relations through timely and thorough problem resolution
  • Interact with all levels of employees in the department and many external departments on a daily basis
  • First point of contact for providers to inquire or communicate regarding accuracy and timeliness of claims payments, referral procedures, prior authorization procedures, appeal procedures, product information, benefit verification and general plan information
  • Identify customer/provider trends and responds accordingly
  • Support in the development, planning and implementation of departmental and cross-departmental projects; which improve the operations of other proficiency and promotes excellence
  • Interact with all levels of employees in the department and many external departments on a daily basis

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required: Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Intermediate skills in Excel as you will be using/creating a spreadsheet for data verification process
  • Must be extremely professional and articulate, system/PC savvy, quick learners and experience in fast paced environments. The ideal Provider Coordinator is a motivated self-starter and requires little direction
  • Must be able to excel in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Must be customer focused, able to work well under pressure, multitask successfully and retain a large amount of knowledge
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be willing to work in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable and motivated to make 200+ outbound calls
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to verify data accurately
  • Self-motivated

Schedule:
    8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
