Atterro has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator at Samsung Electronics America, Inc. in Richardson!

Logistics Coordinator – Inbound to Hub

Under the guidance of a manager, this position is responsible for a transactional part of the logistics cycle for all Samsung products; including manufacturing, SALS warehouse tracking, customer delivery, and customer product returns and claims. 

The position ensures the smooth transportation of routine product through the transportation channel through the management of individual shipments in transit, the selection of standard shipping methods or warehousing methods, the collection and processing of delivery and documentation and the processing of claims through phone and personal contact with logistics colleagues at our business partners, internal partners, and customers.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct a transactional process from factory to customer distribution or retail center under managerial supervision, making routine decisions using pre-determined decision alternatives on matters that have light to moderate impact on business operations. 
• Track and resolve shipping, warehouse, carrier shipping errors, and damaged products claims following general guidelines, getting manager authority for exceptional or high cost deviations.
• Complete transportation transactions from factory to customer delivery, focusing on one of the following areas: Inbound shipment tracking and delivery from overseas manufacturing to local distribution and warehousing facilities. Product management within the warehouse facility. 
• Outbound shipping and delivery to customer distribution or retail centers. 
• Reverse logistics processing return shipments from customers to Samsung hubs, including reconciling claims and invoice discrepancies.

Required Education/Experience  
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of directly related experience is required 
• Bachelor or equivalent degree or experience preferred
• Typically has general knowledge of logistics operations related to employee’s specific area of work, and limited knowledge of overall logistics operations. 
• Is able to identify standard problems within the delivery cycle and makes a recommendation to change either delivery methods or dates, authorize standard returns or claims to ensure customer satisfaction

• Education in business, supply chain, economics, or similar
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Microsoft Excel skills
