JOIN US AS A SR. DEV OPS ENGINEER - GUEST DATA MANAGEMENT (DT MSP)Join a dynamic engineering team that delivers Guest Data Management solutions for Target.com guests.  We are looking for a creative and motivated individual who can both lead and implement, is eager to learn and wants to help build the culture/practice of DevOps at Target.  The key to success in this position is solid engineering expertise, collaboration, and a self-motivated - team working style with attention to detail.What You Will Be Doing:
  • An active member of the Guest Data Management Engineering team focusing on delivering the right services to our engineers to enable automation, job management, deployment, and configuration discovery.
  • You'll use Agile methods with the team to manage WIP, flow, and prioritization of work.
  • You'll be hands on with tools like Git, Chef, Artifactory, HipChat, Jenkins, OpenStack, and Open Source software
  • Research related products and make necessary software recommendations
  • Continuous improvement and maintain a technical edge
Minimum Requirements:
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience with at least one full cycle implementation from requirement to production
  • Has in-depth knowledge of state-of-the art engineering technical approaches in design, build, testing, debugging problems as required by domain
  • Stays current with new evolving tech via formal training and self-directed education
  • Strong problem solving and thought: partnership skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
  • Ping Identity LDAP
  • NoSQL databases - Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Spark
  • Unix shell and Linux systems administration
  • Experience in development and programming technologies to build automated services
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef and Spinnaker
  • Possess good organization and communication skills
  • Services oriented with strong customer focusBonus Points:
