We are currently looking for a Electronic Test Technician with strong previous testing to add to a growing team in Coon Rapids working in a high-precision company in manufacturing. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and you will be responsible for testing completed electronics assemblies and identifying failures in the manufacturing process. Hours: Mon-Thur 5: 30 AM - 4: 00 PM
Pay: $16.50/hr.




Job Duties
Test Production product to ensure proper operation per established procedures
Troubleshoots electronics down to the component level to determine cause and remedy of any malfunction
Sets up and tests units to meet specified requirements
Recognizes failures and takes appropriate action to resolve those problems
Operates oscilloscopes, generators, meters, power supplies and test fixtures, and understands their use and function
Provides support to the Production Leads and Production Supervisor on all test related production assignments

Requirements
Must have experience using the following equipment: DVM, Oscilloscopes, hand tools, such as soldering irons, hand crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers
Must be able to read schematics, BOMs and visual aids
Perform work in accordance with sound safety practices and takes prompt action to resolve problems
Perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload

Qualifications/Education/Experience Requirements
Minimum of a high school education or GED and technical degree or 2 years of related technical electronics experience
Basic knowledge of electronics, computer hardware and PC board inspection
Must be able to follow procedures, prints and other documentation
Must have the ability to identify all components properly and their locations on the board
Must work well with others, is a team player, results oriented and has good communication skills
Must be a US Citizen or permanent legal resident in compliance with US ITAR requirements
