Are you needing a change in pace at your current CNC job? Our growing client in New Hope is looking to add a seasoned CNC Machinist to their growing 2nd shift! If you have 5+ years CNC operating, set-up and troubleshooting, this position is for you!

CNC Machinist 2nd Shift Location and Hours:
2nd shift Monday - Friday 2: 30 P.M. - 11: 00 P.M. (must train on 1st shift)
Located in New Hope
Pay $20 - $27/hr DOE

CNC Machinist 2nd Shift Job Description:
Set-up, operation and troubleshooting of new and existing parts and production lots
Working with CAD drawings, sketches and verbal instructions to interpret, plan and lay out own work
Operating CNC machines to produce quality parts to very tight tolerances
Work with CNC machining centers, CNC multi-spindle drilling machines and other manual drilling machines, single spindle mills, press brakes, sanders, and measuring equipment
Edit programs for CNC equipment and interpret geometric tolerances on drawings in order to manufacture parts to specifications
Participate in the design and machining of special tooling or fixtures required to manufacture piece parts
Monitor and change tools as required
De-burring parts as required to meet quality requirements
Use coordinate measuring machines and hand measuring tools to perform quality inspections
Communicate with supervisor, engineers, quality and other personnel for priority of assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues
Assist co-workers when necessary to meet work unit goals

CNC Machinist 2nd Shift Requirements:
High School Graduate
Trade school training in machine shop practices and procedures
3 - 5 years previous experience using Vertical CNC machining centers and other purpose machining and inspection equipment
Handle all phases of set-up and operation, limited programming and solid troubleshooting skills
Intermediate knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments - calipers. ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators and verniers
Intermediate knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions
Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories
Work is performed in standing and reaching positions, and numerous other physical movements
