Administrative Law Attorney

ADMINISTRATIVE LAW DIVISION
The Office of the Minnesota Attorney General is accepting resumes from experienced lawyers to join the Administrative Law Division to represent state agencies in administrative proceedings.
Attorneys will have the opportunity to represent state agencies in cases involving the regulation of telecom and energy utilities, to frequently appear at the Office of Administrative Hearings and Public Utilities Commission, and to represent state boards and agencies in other administrative matters and court proceedings. Attorneys in the division are responsible for all phases of a case, including preparing pleadings and briefs, and appearing at hearings and trials.
Requirements. Applicants should have superior academic credentials, excellent writing and communication skills, outstanding research and analytical abilities, good judgment and character, relevant practice experience, a strong work ethic, and professional deportment. The selection process to become an Assistant Attorney General is highly competitive and applicants must have the desire to serve the public.
