About This OpportunityTarget.com & MobileThe Lead Agile Coach fosters a culture of learning and continuous improvement within Target's Digital Product organization with a strong focus on collaboration. They are responsible for establishing, maintaining, and evolving the digital product operating model in partnership with Product Management, Engineering, and UX/design partners. This role is accountable for developing and evolving product planning and alignment ceremonies across multiple teams in order to further improve the effective delivery of cross-team objectives.Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals. As a Lead Agile Coach, you'll take the lead:Professional InvolvementThe Lead Agile Coach will be the resident expert of agile principles and related methodologies and practices within Target's Digital organization. As such, this individual will need to be involved with internal and external agile networks in order to stay current on best practices and strategies related to this way of working. The Lead Agile Coach should actively participate in agile communities and seek out opportunities to continuously improve their own skills in order to better support the Product Organization.Consulting and Process ImprovementThe Lead Agile Coach will be responsible for coordinating with partners both within and outside of the Target.com & Mobile Product organization in order to align agile practices, product discovery and delivery. The Lead Agile Coach will work with Product Owners/Managers, User Experience designers, ScrumMasters, and engineers to evaluate team health and effectiveness. They will partner to implement strategies around how agile principles can be effectively leveraged to deliver improved product outcomes. The Lead Agile Coach will also partner with the TTS Agile Coaching team to support broader agile strategies that encompass the enterprise.Computer UsageThe Lead Agile Coach will be expected to be competent with all software currently used by Target to support Product Team execution, including JIRA and Confluence. They be responsible for educating the Product Teams around how these tools can be used to support the process. Training and CertificationThe Lead Agile Coach will be responsible for creating materials detailing the principles of agile and explaining product management best practices, including things like product discovery tactics. They will develop strategies and plans around how to share this information with the product teams they support and ensure those teams understand the concepts and how to apply them. The Lead Agile Coach will also be responsible for the active coaching of Product teams in order to provide "hands-on" direction in the moment.
