  • Operate as a strategic advisor to deliver HR routines & programs
  • Strategize with the HR Field and Operational Excellence businesses to translate pyramid objectives through strategy development, communication plans and delivery/execution.   
  • Lead, influence, support, and facilitate organizational change and communication
  • Consult with the business by understanding how to align and integrate people with business needs through organization design and talent development
  • Determine and plan workforce needs to identify and mobilize the right talent to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with partners to lead the communication and implementation of HR cyclical processes including; Talent Planning, Annual Merit, Performance Review Process and Best Team Survey
  • Assess talent and lead as a brand ambassador who understands and champions Target's purpose, beliefs, and behaviors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or applicable experience
  • 7-10 years of business experience
  • Previous generalist experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate well with all levels in the organization
  • Effective critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong self-concept and ability to manage conflict well
  • Resilient and adaptable to change
