About This Opportunity
At Target we focus on two change methodologies; Organizational Change Management and Change Leadership. As a Lead OCM Consultant you will focus on strategy, methodology, value proposition and capabilities that will make Target better at adopting change than their competition.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position works on the OCM team within HR Strategy and Operations. This team supports large transformations enabled through Target's strategies and other important projects.
•Work directly with Sr. Director of OCM to identify and build the capabilities needed within Target to give us a competitive advantage at change adoption
•Identifies industry trends relevant to Target OCM that will drive capability internal to team and to larger organization
•Develops Change Management team on new trends and ways of delivering OCM.
•Owns measurement strategy for enterprise adoption
•Supports select enterprise initiatives programs with project and change management
•Stakeholder Management - Identify sponsors, advocates, change agents, and impacted end users that can make or break a change effort. Understand what motivates end users, and their change commitment. Develop a plan to mitigate risks.
•Highlight enterprise change risks and make decisions to mitigate them
•Sequence and prioritize work and cascade engagements accordingly
•Use enterprise change plan to ensure leaders are aligned and stakeholders are adopting new behaviors
•Other tasks as assigned
• Bachelor's Degree B.A./B.S.
• Five or more years of business experience
•Solid understanding and experience in managing change
• Proven ability to effectively coach and consult with leaders
• Excellent listening, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to tailor style to a variety of audiences and management levels
