Sr L&D Manager Design & Ops
The Senior Manager of the L&D Design & Development leads a team of headquarter based team members, as well as dotted line relationships with our L&D India team to provide instructional design solutions to internal team members at all levels within the business (new to the company, new in role, incumbent, and executive leadership, etc.).
Primary Responsibilities include (leadership and management components):
·Lead a team to deliver comprehensive and innovative learning solutions that support team member onboarding, transformational initiatives, new technologies, process improvements and culture shifts.
·Analyze internal and external learning trends; prioritize, lead, and enable my team to strategically apply key trends at appropriate learning moments.
·Establish instructional design and content development strategies that support current and future enterprise learning needs aligned to business objectives.
·Ensures that all programs align with the business strategy, leadership success models, adult learning theories, and consistent Target ID design standards.
·Analyzes the characteristics, benefits, and pros/cons associated with existing and emerging technologies and their possible application in an instructional environment. Determines appropriate strategies to integrate into learning material.
·Effectively consult, intake, and prioritize learning and development requests.
·Prioritize and allocate work requests successfully across the team, while managing the execution of each project.
·Partner with L&D Business Leaders and HR to address the current and future needs while providing practical solutions that align with corporate goals and strategies.
·Identify and manage external vendor relationships to ensure exceptional quality, top of the line solutions and reasonable cost are consistently achieved.
·Manages and drives internal L&D central tools and processes to support the team.
·Develop, implement, and execute effective talent management processes and routines, including recruiting, onboarding, career development, compensation, budget, succession planning and leadership development for headquarters and international based team members.
·BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as business, education, instructional design, organizational development, or equivalent experience
·Experience in the areas of general management, leadership development, organizational development, group facilitation, and training design
·Proven experience with the design, development, implementation and measurement of learning solutions that positively impact the business
·Excellent knowledge of Instructional Design learning theories, processes and instructional design models
·Program management skills, including managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results
·Experience with large scale portfolio/program/project management
·Understanding of learning technologies, both current and emerging with the ability to identify and integrate into learning ecosystem to achieve learning goals
·Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
·Strong analytical skills and experience using and presenting data to make decisions
·Master's degree or higher in related discipline
·Experience with business, financial and process improvement tools, concepts and methodologies
·Proficient in learning technologies (such as systems & infrastructure, dashboards, platforms, LMS, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Mobile)
·Proven ability to lead and engage distributed, multi-continental teams
