Position Description

For a non-profit health insurer, design and develop healthcare applications for UCare to integrate with various partners/parties.

Job duties include:

·Install, configure, deploy, and maintain BizTalk Server.

·Support the existing BizTalk production environment for any technical issues.

·Maintain existing code and implement bug fixes.

·Fix issues and bottlenecks in BizTalk Server environment which also includes performance improvements.

·Setup disaster recovery for BizTalk Server environment. Implement HIPAA EDI.

·Implement ESB for benefits, billing, data, and pharmacy services departments.

·Implement various BizTalk design patterns in projects for successful and optimized integration.

·Work with all the artifacts of BizTalk.

·Develop custom pipeline components for Archive, Excel, and Zip operations.

·Develop Agile software and work as a member of the EDI Scrum team.

·Utilize the following tools and technologies: BizTalk Server, Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, Visual Studio, and C#.net.


Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or closely related.

Required Experience

The qualified candidate must have at least five years of post-Bachelor's experience working with the following tools and technologies: BizTalk Server, Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, Visual Studio, and C#.net.  A qualified candidate must be Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in BizTalk. All experience may be gained concurrently.
