An Electronics manufacturer in the Blaine area is looking for a sharp Quality Inspector to join their team! 

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F
Pay: $14/hr
Primary Duties/Responsibilities: • Perform in-process and final inspection activities using visual inspection, measurement and functional testing to ensure all products are manufactured in compliance with work order and drawing specifications. • Interpret engineering drawings / schematics to determine quality and reliability standards.  • Aids in troubleshooting problems during inspection activities and recommends corrective actions to resolve issues. • Document inspection results by completing various inspection reports. • Prepares Nonconforming Reports (NCR’s), Returned Material Authorizations (RMA’s), Deviation Forms and helps disposition rejected material, components and products. • Assists in creating and implementing inspection criteria and procedures to ensure products are of the highest quality and comply with the specified regulations as defined by the customer. • Facilitates problem solving / process improvement efforts with production personnel. • Assist with training personnel to adhere to quality standards. • Utilize various measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements. • Assist with data collection and analysis for quality metrics. • Provide suggestions for improvement both within the quality department, and throughout the organization.  • Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills: • Skills in attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong math & measurement skills. • Knowledge on how to use various measuring equipment (i.e.: tape measure, caliper, micrometer, etc.) • Ability to interpret drawings/schematics and draw conclusions. • Ability to work in a fast paced environment. • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks. • Self-motivated, takes initiative.  • Dedicated to meeting expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. • Prior experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 regulations helpful. • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Education/Experience: • High school diploma or G.E.D.  Two-year technical college education preferred. • 1-3 years experience in a quality assurance/quality inspector position, preferred. • Prior experience working in manufacturing inspection helpful.  Preference given to candidates with experience in electronics manufacturing.
