We are looking for a self-driven collaborator who—working with our talented marketing team as well as our principals, professionals, and technical staff across the company—can find and tell our stories. Work will comprise preparing proposal materials (develop strategy, write, edit, and format); writing project narratives and technical articles; contributing copy for news releases, collateral materials, and our website and social media; and supporting the marketing team on various efforts as needed.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Strong proofing and editing skills; attention to detail; firm grasp of English grammar and composition.
  • Disciplined project and time management skills to meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines; proactive.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and manage internal clients.
  • The drive to research and interview to find the “hidden stories” within the firm.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Degree in Journalism, English, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in Newforma and Deltek Vision (a pleasant surprise but not required).
  • Experience with engineers, architects, scientists, planners, geographers, land surveyors, and/or builders (icing on the cake but, again, not required).
  • In a nutshell, we need someone with mad writing skills, a strong inner drive, a winning attitude, and who grasps that being analytical and creative are not mutually exclusive\
