Hunter Hamilton is partnering with a dynamic, growing company in the west metro and has an immediate need for a Commercial Collections Specialist! As a Commercial Collections Specialist you will leverage strong communication and customer service skills in order to manage timely collections on past due customer accounts.

Your daily duties will include:
  • Reviewing accounts on the daily credit hold report and through negotiations with customers reach resolution to release, hold, reschedule, or cancel pending orders.
  • Collect past due or delinquent customer accounts through negotiations, resulting in monies collected to meet corporate goals.
  •  Respond to customer inquiries relating to account issues and reconciles customer accounts and disputes.
  • Monthly review of customers with old outstanding balances and provide guidance with regards to providing a provision for bad debt.
  •  Collect and negotiate on annual revenues of $100 million plus and a customer base of 4000+.

As a qualified Commercial Collections Specialist you will ideally have:
  • A 2 or 4 year degree in business management, accounting, finance, or related field
  • 2 or more years of experience working closely with customer and vendors on past due accounts
  • International collections experience strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
