We currently have a Laser Marking Operator position for an innovated company in the Roseville area! This company is looking for a temp-to-hire employee who can work in a team environment. Hours for this opportunity would be 7 am-3:30 pm. Pay is dependent on experience.  

JOB SUMMARY Utilize the laser and existing programs and fixtures to mark components per associated work order requirements.  Ensures accuracy of product markings by verifying set up via first article against work order requirements.  Ensure compliance of assembly schedule through prioritization of laser marking schedule and optimization of usage. Set-up and create marking programs for custom and new products.
• Update Laser time requirements on Engineer Master and report weekly efficiency/utilization report. • Informs the appropriate personnel of any discrepancies in operating procedures, worker or equipment safety, or housekeeping issues.  • Insures proper operating function of Laser.  Reports any Laser operating issues immediately to supervisor or Manufacturing Engineer. • Communicate the need for laser programming and fixture to Manufacturing Technician in a timely manner when necessary. • Lifts and transfers parts between work stations.  • Follows established safety rules in all aspects of the laser marking process.  • Assures that all part markings are completed in accordance with established engineering and quality standards, using visual verification.  • Responsible for general housekeeping in and around the workplace being used.  • Performs assigned tasks in standing or sitting position.  • Completes tasks within ISO 9001 Guidelines.  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED • Requires High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and a minimum of 18 months experience or equivalent laser marking.  • Able to bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for an extended period of time.  • Able to communicate issues with engineering concerning capabilities and specifications.  • Requires visual verification of product marking against related engineering specification and work order requirements. • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.  • Able to do standard shop mathematics to accomplish assigned tasks. • Requires good hand/eye coordination, finger dexterity, and mechanical aptitude. Able to read and accurately follow written instructions (including blueprints) and record results.  • Requires understanding of verbal and written instructions.  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS  Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work may involve the lifting and transferring of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
