Animal Care Supervisor
The Animal Care Supervisor oversees all day to day animal care operations in the Animal Care Facility (ACF). This position will train and monitor student workers to provide the animal cares as well as to serve as back up caregiver in the absence of students. The Animal Care Supervisor will work closely with all faculty investigators to coordinate daily animal care with research programs and to provide for any special animal needs and efficiently coordinate use of ACF resources.
This is a part time (18.50 hours per week) position. This position requires occasional weekend work, and rotating responsibility for animal checks on holidays, determined by flexibly between faculty and staff. This is an hourly paid, fully benefit eligible, regular 12-month staff position.

The successful candidate possesses two to five years of similar or related experience, as well as a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, is required.
