Humera is seeking an Department Specialist II in the Finance department for our client, a major grocery retail and supply chain company, located in Eden Prairie, MN.
This is a long-term contract opportunity!


Duties:

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Prepare bid sheet documents in support of Private Label, GNFR, and Technology Services sourcing events
  • Analyze and prepare financial summaries of vendor bids for live and fixed bid events
  • Respond to ad hoc requests to provide spend data by category and vendor leveraging Oracle data extracts and pivot table skills

Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Categorize monthly spend into predetermined categories and subcategories
  • Review and analyze monthly spend patterns and prepare reporting and communication to the sourcing managers about year-over-year anomalies both in spend and vendor utilization
  • Update and maintain Spend Analytics Database
  • Update the rolling 13 period year-over-year spend analytics report Analyze and provide actionable insights to variances

Quarterly Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Quarterly year-to-date comparisons of category and sub-category spend that reviews and explains variances in current fiscal year spend to the prior two fiscal years

Requirements:
Experience:
  • 5-10 years
