PROGRAM MANAGER

Doherty Staffing Solutions has partnered with a local manufacturer in their search for a Program Manager for their facility in Grand Forks, ND. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with initial screening by Doherty Staffing. The Program Manager will lead multiple departments (engineering, production, shipping, customer service) to ensure successful project outcomes. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skillset.

JOB SUMMARY

The Program Manager will originate, organize and manage multiple projects at any given time. He/she works with several departments to coordinate activities, set deadlines, ensure accountability and facilitate the needs of every project.

PROGRAM MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

o Manage multiple projects from new product development to manufacturing floor improvements

o Update and review budgeted/actual labor and material for projects

o Serve as the main interface for both internal and external customers

o Complete Program Tracking Documents and month Senior Management updates

o Manage development and review processes and obtain sign-offs from various departments

o Ensure successful handoff of projects to production

o Lead cross-department team meetings to ensure proper communication and lead troubleshooting efforts during complex situations

o Support financial objectives by forecasting requirements and providing input for projects and annual budgets

PROGRAM MANAGER REQUIREMENTS

o Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field

o 2+ years of project management experience

o Production or manufacturing experience helpful but not required

o OEM experience is a plus

o Exceptional communication skills exhibiting a positive attitude

o Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience a plus

o Ability to lead cross-functional teams with minimal direction

o Effective planning and organizational skills
