Processes accounts receivable cash applications and required reporting in a timely and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.
• Identifies customer invoices being paid and applies cash receipts. • Compares data entered with source documents or follows computer verification format to detect errors. • Deletes incorrectly entered data and re-enters correct data. • Compiles, sorts, prints and verifies accuracy of data entered. • Verifies and posts details of business transactions such as: cash discounts, freight cost adjustments and sales adjustments. • Generates related reports for cash applications and discounts taken. • Issues credit memo correction and re-bills incorrect invoices. • Processes credit card approvals and release orders. • Process RMAs for Customer return(s). • Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees of the Company.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
