Strategic Marketing Leader- Golden Valley, MN

Doherty Career Solutions has teamed with a regional association to hire a Strategic Marketing Leader. The Strategic Marketing Leader or Marketing Manager will be responsible for providing overall strategic leadership for marketing, communication and fundraising efforts.

*Direct Hire $80,000-84,000

Duties:

· Design, develop and oversee implementation of marketing strategies and tactical work plans and timelines to increase and sustain grain company support for operations employee membership and engagement in programs and volunteer leadership service, utilizing both top down and bottom up approaches · Foster consistent measurement, robust analytics and a focus on results to continuously improve effectiveness and ROI · Create distinct and recognizable brand strategies and messages to connect with key segments · Partner with all cross-functional teams to build consensus in a matrixed organizational structure and oversee and activate brand strategies · Serve as lead staff liaison to the Marketing Oversight Committee to develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans consistent with the direction of the International Board of Directors · Serve as support staff liaison to all committees to design, develop and implement related marketing and communications strategies and tactics · Oversee the development and maintenance of relationships with industry stakeholders to increase and sustain support for membership and engagement in programs and volunteer leadership service · Develop a strong understanding of industry stakeholder interests aligned with core purpose and values · Develop key messages for grain company executive communications · Create and oversee implementation of fundraising plans that detail strategies and tactics for soliciting funding and in-kind contributions from multiple sources to include individual and corporate donors, other foundation and government grant programs and fundraising events. · Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors

· Manage related budgets to include budget development, monitoring and approving budgetary expenditures and analyzing statistical and financial reports

Requirements:

· 7+ years as Marketing Manager · Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications · Experience within Association Management or Agriculture a plus but not required · Occasional travel
