As a Sr. Manager on the Stores Hosting team, you will lead an engineering and operations team in an agile environment implementing and managing technology infrastructure and solutions.  The key to the success of this position is having a strong & innovative approach to problem solving, great technical leadership, excellent communication (written and verbal, formal and informal), flexibility, and a self-motivated working style with attention to detail.In this role, you will lead the teams that are transforming the data centers in stores to enable compute at the edge of the network and provide stability while enabling frequent change driven by innovation.   • Manage overall control room infrastructure life cycles, driving best practices and ensuring secure and highly available systems
  • Design, build and execute the stores control room next gen governance model
  • Build and lead a team of talented and experienced infrastructure and data center engineers
  • Use industry trends and best practices to ensure uninterrupted power, stringent cable management, temperature control and security across a highly distributed environment
  • Ensure your team's technical solutions conform to industry best practices
  •  Manage and execute against project/agile plans
  • Drive resolution of technology roadblocks including compute, power, network and security
  • Manage cross-product technical dependencies and drive resolutions to conflicts
  • Advocate for technologies, frameworks, processes and guiding values aligned to Infrastructure and Operations architecture and engineering standards
  • Champion and maintain a supportive, respectful and inclusive team culture
  • Contribute to a telemetry and monitoring framework that provides increasing value over time
  • 8+ years of infrastructure engineering, data center engineering or infrastructure operations experience
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to variety of audiences

  • Knowledge of modern enterprise infrastructure and data center concepts including automation, security,  network, cloud, containers, voice, and power
  • Available for limited travel
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of managing infrastructure or data center teams with a strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects
  • Experience managing multiple vendors to deliver projects remotely in a highly distributed environment
  • Experience with structured cabling, remote monitoring, power distribution requiring portable UPS systems, cooling requirements for server closets/spaces
  • Experience working with local municipalities for electrical code and fire system implementations
  • Experience with vendor sourcing
  • Project and expense financial management at a large scale
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • RCDD, network or other infrastructure certifications and related experience
  • Extensive experience working in an agile environment (i.e. user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, etc.)
