Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a Clinical Coordinator/Nurse Manager to join the team at McKenna Crossing in Prior Lake, MN.

  • Fulltime working supervisor of 17 Enhanced Assisted Living Apartments and corresponding staff. Work 2 days on the floor & 3 days in the office. Rotating weekend On Call with Clinical Administrator

Our Clinical Coordinator role oversees our Enhanced Assisted Living. We have 24 hour nursing overseeing 17 residents. Our residents are assisting living residents with increase health needs. Our Resident assistants pass medications and provide ADL Cares. The Clinical Coordinator is a management role that works 2 days on the AM shift in the nurses role and 3 days of supervision, oversight, and care planning. The Role of the Coordinator directly supervises all RNs, LPNs, and Resident Assistants. The Clinical Coordinator reports to the Clinical administrator. We have a strong team with longevity on our floor and we are looking for a candidate that is comfortable in a leadership role and a strong advocate for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Manager / Clinical Coordinator is responsible for working with the household team to implement and manage the clinical staff and program to ensure the delivery of high quality resident care and services consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. This position will partner with the Licensed Social Worker (Resident Services) to blend together housing, healthcare, and hospitality for the residents.

The Nurse Manager / Clinical Coordinator has responsibility as a member of the site leadership team to participate in the planning and implementation of strategies and programming that assure high quality resident care while achieving short and long-term operational goals and objectives for the site.

Reporting Structure


The Clinical Coordinator reports to the Clinical Administrator. The Clinical Coordinator directly supervises all RNs, LPNs, Resident Assistants and Resident Aides in his/her household.



Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current licensure the State Board of Nursing in state(s) in which he/she practices.
  • Two to Three (2-3) years management experience in health care or related field.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
