Responsibtilities:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist you will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the Accounting department. An AP Specialist will code all payable invoices with the proper expense account, accurately enter vendor invoices for payment, maintain vendor files, track monthly expenses, and assist with month end and closing.

Job duties will include but not limited to:

  • Code Payable invoices with proper expense accounts according to the Chart of Accounts
  • Work with vendors to reconcile their account
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Assist with completion of 1099's
  • Assist with month end closing and booking accruals if necessary
  • Sort, code, review and verify vendor invoices
  • Track monthly expenses by dealership for management reporting
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Reconcile AP aging against CDK
  • Embrace and exhibit CORE values
  • All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2 or 4 Year degree preferred
  • 3-5 years prior Accounts Payable experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (e.g. Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
