This position will be responsible for being the primary point of contact and responsible for handling all stages of the contract process from initial drafting to execution, for various commodities working with a 3rd party contract sourcing company. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain consistent follow-up with counterparts and detailed record keeping.
• Coordinate updating ERP system with contract pricing.
• Manage adding new vendors to the Approved Vendor list as needed.
• Manage activities when required for validating alternate products utilizing resources from various departments such as Engineering and Quality.
• Perform miscellaneous duties, as needed.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

• Minimum of three years’ experience with contract negotiation and administration.
• Bachelor’s Degree and experience with 3rd party strategic sourcing companies.
• Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills 
• Ability to assess contract compliance and to analyze and resolve problems.
• Knowledge of general trading business practices and procedures
• Proven ability to handle fast-paced transactions, prioritize and organize projects, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience collaborating with numerous organizations and serving as a key member of a team.
• Excellent communication skills
