The Department of Nursing invites applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor to teach in the post master's DNP program of study. Rank and salary are commensurate with education and experience.
We are searching for a faculty colleague who loves to teach; is passionate about working with diverse colleagues, students, and populations; understands the importance of interprofessional education; and is committed to the scholarship of teaching. Situated in the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health with over 31 health profession programs, we have a fertile ground for teaching interprofessional practice. Responsibilities: Teaching students in the classroom, online, and, supervising DNP projects and DNP practicum, and engaging in scholarship and service per University guidelines.
Requirements: An earned doctoral degree is required. Doctoral degree in nursing preferred but will consider candidates with a doctorate in another field with a BSN or master's degree in nursing. Teaching experience in nursing required, graduate level teaching experience preferred. Evidence of on-going scholarship and service to the nursing profession required.
