Advertising Coordinator

Star Tribune is looking for a customer focused Advertising Coordinator to join our fast paced Local team.  This critical team member establishes and ensures strong working relationships with advertisers. Partnering with account executives to effectively and efficiently coordinate all aspects of advertising.

As an Advertising Coordinator, you will act as a liaison between internal departments and vendors to ensure timely flow of all projects. Coordinate the necessary components for print and digital advertising products to ensure accuracy in layout/design, mechanical requirements and billing. Manages associations and maintains working relationships with Sales, Operations, Marketing and customer service personnel in effectively understanding and meeting the needs of our advertisers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Strong aptitude toward and knowledge of various computer applications
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Adequate communication, planning, collaborative and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to work independently and under minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service orientation, time management and prioritization skills 
  • Post high school education is preferred
