JOIN US AS A SENIOR INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER

Join our Information Security Engineering team and develop world class security solutions in support of Target's Information Security and Network Security strategies!

You will enjoy full stack ownership of leading edge technology implementations: developing automation and self-service APIs for cloud-based Web Proxy platforms, behavioral-based Threat Prevention systems and Software Defined Network based firewalls in a CI/CD workspace. You will design and build these groundbreaking solutions in an Agile/Scrum and DevOps environment collaborating regularly with Application, Infrastructure and other Security groups.  You will be charged with constructing and integrating solutions with many popular Open Source technologies, internally developed applications, native cloud services and COTS software.

·Design and implement automation for software defined network based firewalls

·Design and implement automation for operational tasks to create self-healing products

·Develop new functionality to continuously expand network security control capabilities

·Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and quickly resolve product issues

·Collaborate with Application and Infrastructure teams to develop and continuously improve technical solutions, implementation activities and support processes

 Requirements

·BA/BS or equivalent experience

·Minimum of 5 years of full stack development or relevant work experience

·Highly productive coder; self-starter and self-motivated

·Personal or professional experience contributing to Open Source projects

·Ability to effectively communicate with both engineers and leadership/business

·Experience in enterprise cloud technology and cloud-based IaaS platforms

·Continuous learner with a passion for new and evolving technologies

·CISSP, GIAC or similar certification a plus

Preferred Skills and Expertise

·Experience working in an Agile/Scrum and/or DevOps environment

·Experience with CI/CD such as: Drone and Jenkins

·Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as: Chef, Ansible and Consul Template

·Experience with programming and scripting languages: Python, Java, Ruby, Groovy, Bash

·Experience with cloud-based IaaS platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OpenStack

·Experience with using binary repositories for versioning such as: Artifactory

·Experience with open-source logging and reporting solutions such as: Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana and Grafana

·Experience building high-performance infrastructures that are scalable and resilient

·Ability to create clear and detailed technical diagrams and documentation
