Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Lab Tech – Vet Lab, Part-time 36 hours/week, M-Sat: 7a.m - 7pm
Marshfield Labs Veterinary Services was established in 1991 to serve the needs of veterinarians throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest. While our main lab is located in Marshfield, Wisconsin, we have expanded to include five additional laboratory locations, three in Wisconsin and two in Ohio, which provide daily services for veterinarians and research facilities nationwide.
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Lab Technician performs in-vitro analysis of biologic specimens according to the procedures established for routine and specialized areas of the laboratory. The MLT/Lab Technician participates in the supportive functions of quality control, instrument operation, limited troubleshooting, teaching, and limited problem resolution.

- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent (i.e., Military trained – Medical Lab Specialist certificate of training obtained prior to April 24, 1995)
- Current knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
- Previous laboratory experience is recommended.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems is beneficial
