The University of Wisconsin-Stout invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), to teach courses supporting the B.S./M.S. ICT program. Faculty also engage in interdisciplinary endeavors with campus colleagues and maintain partnerships with industry. Anticipated start date is August 20, 2018.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
- Master’s degree
- Demonstrated work experience or certification(s) in one of the following:
            a) Business Applications (e.g., CRM, ERP, Warehouse Management, Inventory Control)

            b) Systems Analysis and Design
Preferred
- Terminal degree

- Educational degree in the ICT field
- Teaching experience at the University level
- Experience in ICT project management, consultancy, or data management (relational or dimensional)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, especially those supporting the M.S. and B.S. in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) programs and other departmental courses. Research and service to the university and the ICT profession. The full-time teaching load is 12 credits per semester.
Other responsibilities include: Teaching with tools that facilitate online and face-to-face learning environments; interaction with ICT faculty and industry partners; continuous learning and development in the ICT field; advising undergraduate and graduate students; engagement in course and program assessment of student learning; fostering cultural diversity and global awareness.

Menomonie, Wisconsin, is a town of 16,000 located in the beautiful Chippewa River Valley, 25 miles west of Eau Claire and 60 miles east of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
