Doherty Career Solutions is currently partnering with a growing, dynamic manufacturer of modular buildings. We are seeking a Service Manager/Technician to work closely with the Operations Manager in servicing/repairing homes once they have been delivered to site. Pay is based on experience. Initial screening through Doherty Career Solutions
This role would involve approx. half the time in the office in Redwood Falls, MN and the rest of the time working at customer sites. Experience and practical knowledge is required to listen to customer's questions and concerns and trouble shoot their problems.
Service Manager Main Duties/Responsibilities:
· Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites, supporting the on-site finishing work when home is delivered and set on its foundation. · Versatile 'handyman' to perform warranty work on completed homes. · Assist with quality control inspections, required administration and accurate records. · May operate hand and power tools of all types, and other construction equipment. · Keeping service within allotted budget · Take phone calls from customers and discussing a solution to a problem or answering questions · Organizing contractors to preform work if needed on site · Ordering parts/materials for repairing issues
Service Manager Key Requirements/Qualifications:
· At least five years well-rounded, home construction experience. · Experience working with customers. · Proven positive leadership skills and attitude. · Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
