Relocation Consultant / Real Estate
Doherty Top Talent is partnering with a national brokerage firm in Downtown Minneapolis in search of a Relocation Consultant / Realtor. Compensation starts between $39,990 - $45,900 yearly with up to $8,000 incentives per year. We offer career development, benefits, and an amazingly supportive team. This is a direct hire position with regular business hours Monday-Friday. Ideal candidates have 3+ years' experience in relocation coordination and best practices.
The Relocation Consultant will administer the relocation policy and coordinate all aspects of the relocation process for nationwide third party, corporate client transferees. Manage the daily activities of the corporate account, oversee property marketing and act as the single point of contact for the transferee.
1. Transferee support (45-50%) · Counsel transferees to determine relocation needs and implement corporate client relocation program. · Interpret client relocation policies and procedures. · Oversee marketing of home for corporate client and transferee. Assign sales associate, order broker BPO/BMA and consult with transferee on BMA/appraisals. · Follow up with transferees and sales associates on property marketing strategy and completion of necessary documents. · Assist with contract negotiations and closings with buyers or sellers. · Provide orientation for destination transferees and oversee full service counseling on area, housing, rentals (long and short term), schools, childcare, and cost of living information. · Coordinate household goods move for transferees. · May handle international transferees, group moves and assist with special projects. · May be responsible for BVO/AVO buyout consulting, appraisal review, and pre-marketing consultation and implementation. 2. Administrative (45-50%) · Process closing paperwork and review for accuracy. · Audit and approve invoices, audit expense sheets for transferee, process relocation payments or reimbursements to transferee and service providers. · May provide tax information to payroll, and transferee and assist with tax gross-ups. · Responsible for managing inventory properties locally and nationally. · Set up and maintain client and transferee files. 3. Maintain relationships and a strong follow up program with company sales associates and other real estate company associates to ensure referrals. 4. Maintain strong relationship with corporate client and inform client on transferee status.
Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent knowledge and experience. · Three to five years business experience, real estate and/or relocation experience preferred. · Proficiency with business software and in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. · Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently and meet deadlines. · Real Estate License · Certified Relocation Professional (CPR) preferred
