Assistant Director of Study Away for Faculty-Led Programs
Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as the Assistant Director of Study Away for Faculty-Led Programs.
As the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for the planning, organizing and directing of the administrative functions of faculty-led off-campus programs (Travel Study). You will be responsible for assisting faculty to design the program; coordinating the program proposal and review processes; managing program logistics, budget, and risk management; overseeing program marketing; advising prospective student applicants; administering student application, approval, and billing processes; and teaching pre-departure orientation and re-entry programming courses.
Minimum qualifications for this position are a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as international studies, higher education program administration, communications, or other applicable area and two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in program development and management in a higher education setting OR a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field will be considered provided you have at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in program development and management in a higher education setting.
