Join us as a Supply Chain Process Manager - PurchasingAbout This OpportunityWork with the team that is engaged in delivering a superior guest experience through effective utilization of Target's First Mile inbound purchasing of inventory into Target's network. This position will drive the continuous improvement of current processes across the supply chain network within the US.  This role will help improve, sustain, analyze and manage both long-range and short term supply chain processes, evaluating key business strategies and initiatives, and providing critical analytic support for this business.The Supply Chain Process Manager will provide sound strategy and leverage analytics to help deliver supply chain needs in order to drive effective decisions for First Mile inbound purchasing and ensure performance goals are met. You will be responsible for an array of processes supporting First Mile inbound purchasing and work in close partnership with IPC, Inventory Management and Suppliers. It will be critical in this role to also to be able to be comfortable with ambiguity and utilize a test and learn mindset with other core GSCL teams to inform and develop our broader inbound purchasing roadmap.
Use your skills, experience and talents to be a key part in Target's Supply Chain Transformation.  As a process manager you will…• Help create and sustain processes and deliver annual and long-range purchasing goals, monthly forecasts, and continuous insightful analytics for the supply chain.
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure sound financial decisions are being made to drive improvement in Supply Chain expense.
• Increase and elevate the communication of performance and insights within supply chain and other partners.
• Understand supply chain systems in-depth and drive organizational understanding to help deliver ideal purchasing quantities to better meet our guest and stores ideal inventory position. 

·         4 year Bachelor's degree
·         2-6 years of previous experience in inventory management, supply chain or purchasing
·         Strong analytical skills
·         Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build relationships & contribute in a team setting
·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
·         Self-motivated and able to work independently
·         Strong communication and organization skills
·         Excellent problem solving skills
·         Able to present complex supply chain analysis in an understandable format
