Humera is looking for an Customer Service Representative for our client in Minnetonka, a premier supplier of made-to-order precision-machined components. The ideal candidate in this position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company. Additionally, they will serve as the primary internal representative of our organization, you must convey to the customer a sense of expertise in our manufacturing services and capabilities. This is a direct hire position.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
You are a member of the Sales and Marketing Team, and together you are accountable for meeting the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and sales goals of the company by recording the Sales/Dollar amounts on the PO's and entering them into the system.
  • Act as the focal point for communication and support to multiple current customers with total revenue potential of $5-7M annually
  • Responsible for organizing day-to-day interaction with current and potential customers from initial inquiry to order entry in ERP, to include but not limited to:
  • Receiving initial RFQ, RFI, RMA, status inquiry or service issue communication from the Customer;
  • Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines for quotes. Work within internal (JobBoss) and customer MRP systems to coordinate information on all orders;
  • Develop and issue quotes for repeat part orders consistent with company pricing system and policies;
  • Issue quotes on behalf of Account Managers;
  • Receive Purchase Orders and authorization to ship notices from customers and enter orders into JobBoss;
  • Issue order acknowledgments, pricing & lead time verifications;
  • Create/issue RMAs for customer-documented quality issues;
  • Communicate job status to the Customer;
  • Communicate with Customers regarding payment issues, to include seeking payment of accounts receivable.
  • Responsible internally for providing timely information on customer requests and supporting Production Operations planning to meet customer needs, to include:
  • Notifying shipping/production control of Kanban releases;
  • Pull/check inventory at time of order & communicate job needs to Production Control;
  • Communicating customer requests for delivery changes (e.g. expedites, push outs, volume changes);
  • Act as point of contact for Intercompany job sourcing to meet customer needs;
  • Updating customer master records in JobBoss and CRM; maintaining accurate customer contact records;
  • Set up new customers in our ERP.
  • Within the Sales Team, develop positive and professional relationships with assigned accounts:
  • Initiate outbound calls and regular check-ins with targeted growth accounts per the sales plan;
  • Effectively present and discuss the products and services provided by the company to current and prospective customers in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs;
  • Support strategic sales plan and marketing strategies outlined by the sales team, and facilitate joint sales calls where applicable.
  • Personal characteristics: you are in a strong position to influence Customer satisfaction, this position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.
  • Recommend process improvements.
  • Conform to the company quality system as documented.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • College degree

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • 3-5 years in customer service or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Excel and MRP
SKILLS ABILITIES:
  • Ability to learn JobBOSS manufacturing software.

SCHEDULE:
SHIFT: 1ST, 8:00AM TO 4:30PM
