Ranked Faculty - School of Social Work, MSW program
The School of Social Work at St. Catherine University invites applicants for a full-time tenure track open ranked faculty position beginning in Fall, 2018. The candidate is expected to teach core generalist and advanced clinical courses in our MSW program. Additional content expertise is preferred in leadership, supervision, and program management.
Responsibilities: Nine (9)-month faculty position. Faculty are expected to teach six courses per academic year, which may include summer. Other faculty responsibilities include dissertation and student advising, professional activities, and requisite faculty service.
The School of Social Work at St. Catherine University is a joint program with the University of St. Thomas, offering BSW, MSW and DSW programs. It is a thriving school with approximately 600 students, and is well respected in the practice community. It offers innovative programs that strive to meet community needs. Required qualifications:Doctorate in social work related field or ABD is required. Professional social work license eligibility is a must as well as a MSW degree and minimum of two years social work practice experience post MSW. Ability to articulate a scholarly agenda required. Classroom experience in accredited social work program preferred.
