Responsible to understand, represent and evolve primary business functions of the HR Operations Center.Works with Sr. Managers and Lead Consultants across all business lines to evaluate and evolve processes, service delivery, performance and expense.Identifies opportunities to impact and improve operational components and service delivery within the HROC.Manages all aspects of client partnerships and identifies opportunities to expand service delivery to those clients.Aggressively acts on these internal and external opportunities by developing, testing and implementing process change, managing control plans, managing change management within the HROC, and client reporting and feedback.Actively involved with driving the HROC business strategy.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Create and drive strategic initiatives within a shared services organization -- Thoroughly understands overall business strategy of the HR Operations Center (HROC).Understands detailed components of daily operations within multiple functional areas, how structure of the organization is used to provide cohesive service delivery, and how to navigate by utilizing all elements of the organization.
2.Evaluation of processes to ensure best methods are utilized and continual improvement is realized - Ensures strong governance tools are in place and utilized to ensure consistent practice within the operational services environment.Continually seeks to understand the outcome of processes to evaluate if client expectations are being met.
3.Understands, monitors and drives analysis of work environment to identify and act on opportunities to improve operations, guest experience, productivity, technology, training, and communication.In partnership with Director and Sr. Managers, seeks and acts on opportunities to maximize business results.
4.Manages internal Target client relationships - Primarily responsible for HROC relationship with client groups inside and outside of HR.Maintains key contacts, stays abreast of client business initiatives and strategies, researches and rectifies HROC service failures related to clients, communicates and provides insight to clients related to work stream outputs of the HROC.
5.Identifies opportunities for innovation regarding content and delivery of services—originating within client organization or within the HROC.This includes evaluation of current state of business and team, thorough understanding of client needs, strategic goals and initiatives, robust collaboration within the HROC and client teams, and aggressive project management with a particular focus on increased scope and impact of HROC services.
6.Robust project management aimed at addressing identified opportunities.This includes all aspects of project management, but is heavily focused on measurement of issue and solution, process development, control analysis, and change management.
7.Collaboratively works with all HROC leadership and internal and external partners to ensure a cross functional approach to operational performance.Proactively seeks solutions to content and workflow issues and considers the HROC in total as well as external solutions when evaluating placement of work.
8.Publicly represents the HROC—builds and delivers branded presentations to diverse audiences, ensures collaboration and individual contact credibly represents the HROC.
9.As appropriate and necessary, is involved in vendor relations potentially including evaluation, contract negotiations, transition/implementation planning, control planning, and ongoing monitoring of service level agreements and vendor relationship management.
10.Explores, develops and participates in implementation of strategic direction of a functional area within the HROC as well as the HROC in total.Understands global business model, applies knowledge and expertise, drives change.
11.Consistently makes decisions with good judgment and involves additional leaders when appropriate.Effectively manages time and priorities to drive multiple, potentially competing, business needs.
12.Proactive Communication - Aggressively and proactively manages communication within and between teams inside and outside of the HROC to facilitate and expedite project progress.This will also include active participation in coaching and developing team members.
13.Self-development -- Proactive in identifying and participating in training and development programs, classes or work experiences to strengthen capabilities for future performance.
14.Special projects as assigned.
·Eight to ten years related work experience.
·Target HR and/or HROC experience
