As a Direct Admissions Coordinator, you will:
• Triage crisis phone calls
• Assess/consult with the on-call physician to determine correct level of care
• Coordinate admission to the inpatient unit with hospitals and other professionals in the community
• Provide effective customer relations pursuant to the policies of PrairieCare
• Provide back-up for therapists and perform other clinical duties as needed

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely-related therapeutic field
• Currently pursuing licensure
• Two years of experience in behavioral healthcare preferred
• Knowledge of DSM-IV criteria
• Interviewing and assessment skills
• Oriented and educated in gender, culture, and age-appropriate care
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Clinical Directors and professionals within other organizations
• Reliable transportation and telephone
• Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
