Job Description:
Humera Administrative Staffing is seeking a Contract Coordinator to work for our client, an independent, nonprofit health plan provider. Our client is dedicated to improving the health of its members through innovative services and partnerships across communities. This contract is expected to last 1 to 2 months
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the preparation and revision of letters, contracts, addendums and documents related to potential or current providers
  • Audit, information submitted on the approved forms for document generation and load into Amysis. Use mail merge to update fields into approved provider contract templates
  • Meet with PRC -Contracting staff and the Network Operations Manager as necessary to clarify and communicate issues and concerns related to provider contract documents, templates or forms. Assist in the coordination of the retro contract process
  • Coordinate and manage the online provider change forms and assign work according to PRC assignments
  • Responsible for all compliance program documentation.
  • Support audits, compliance projects, process evaluation and improvement and routine reporting
  • Maintain provider information in contract tracking database to ensure data integrity
  • Ensure Network Operations Manager is informed of contract project status and deviation from goals
  • Update Network Operations Manager, and other appropriate departments of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management of contracts
  • Utilize contract templates under the direction of Provider Relations and Contracting management, Legal and Compliance Departments.
  • Maintain potential, contracted, denied and correspondence provider files
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Education
  • Associate degree in a related field preferred; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Required Experience
  • Three years of contract management, documents management administrative experience.
Preferred Experience
  • Health insurance or managed care industry experience.
