Pro Staff is actively seeking an Account Technician I! A local company in Golden Valley, MN is searching for a candidate who would be responsible in various policy administration duties. This position requires good knowledge of MS Office applications and the basic understanding of administration life cycle including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, cancellation. This position would also require good communication skills both verbal and written. This position is a temporary position going through the end of January 2018.

Job Duties:
  • Handle accounts with limited complexity.
  • Review underwriting material regarding completion and to ensure full completion.
  • Adhere to risk management and compliance procedures.
  • Provide efficient administration and processing service to underwriting and other departments.
  • Using all relevant information to accurately and efficiently populate IT system(s) with new and renewed business. 
  • Invoice customers on a daily basis.
  • Act as a liaise with brokers and/or Underwriters, to ensure timely premium payment. 
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
Job Qualifications:
  • Prior 1-3 years experience of policy administration.
  • Prior experience of administrative task in other businesses, 1-3 years.
  • Ability to meet client requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office functions.
  • Ability to learn new technical systems or be computer technology inclined.
  • Ability to sit and stand throughout the day.
