Hunter Hamilton is seeking a Collections Lead that will report to the Manager of Credit and Collections and is responsible for assisting in  overall credit and collections efforts and leading and developing a team. Job Duties:

  • Manage and train a team of collection specialists
  • Responsible for collection of past due customer invoices 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to ensure credit and collection guidelines are adhered to and resolve issues quickly
  • Negotiate with customers to arrange payment plans
  • Help team evaluate accounts on an ongoing basis to determine subsequent actions
  • Provide analysis and report on collection issues including those resulting from internal processes
  • Collaborate cross functionally with teams to ensure effective management of suspended and cancelled accounts
  • Monitor, track, and enforce department policies, procedures and goals
  • Continually assess the team and processes to improve cash flow by improving the credit and collection process, reduce aged AR, DSO and bad debt
  • Other accounting duties as requested and/or determined
  • Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • 3+ years collection experience in a business to business environment
  • 2+ years supervisory experienced required
  • Prefer experience with large ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel skills
