Director, Benefits (Health Benefits Innovation)
Lead Target's care strategy from a Health and Well-being innovation perspective.Demonstrate the requisite financial acumen to effectively influence $500M+ of healthcare spend, impacting 320,000 team members. Manage a team of experienced health plan design SMEs who are responsible for developing new and refining existing programs with measureable outcomes as well as partnering with our engagement team to reach Team Members at a time and manner most meaningful for them.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Recommends the strategy, goals, and benefit offerings which address TM care needs, are easily understood and are cost effective.
2.Ensures alignment of health benefit programs with company's employment brand and strategic business objectives
3.Partner closely with the Population Health team members to ensure plan designs, disease management, care management and wellness initiatives deliver improved health outcomes and quality of care.
4.Collaborate with the Engagement and Compliance teams to ensure benefit programs are effectively communicated and legally compliant.
5.Partner with the Government Affairs department by utilizing knowledge of external market dynamics to influence at the federal, state and local regulatory level.
6.Manage vendors ensuring appropriate focus on innovation and best practice solutions.
7.Utilize benchmark data to ensure program competitiveness
8.Manage, coach and support the development needs of a team of SMEs.
9.Engage with internal and external partners to advance thinking around health care design and delivery.
10.Manage multiple project deliverables.
11.Provide regular status updates.
•10+ years benefits experience, preferably on health care design & innovation
•Strong leadership and project management skills
•Ability to maximize relationships and manage performance
•Strong problem solving, communication and decision-making skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
