Benefits/Retirement Consultant

The Benefits/Retirement Consultant will be responsible for assisting the organization with servicing their clients in the areas of retirement plans, benefits and other add-on products.  The role will involve analyzing retirement plan offerings and determining the best solution to recommend to clients.  This is the analytical piece that is created for the salesperson to deliver in their presentations with clients.

Skills, Characteristics, and Aptitudes required:

Four year Business degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, or business admiration is preferred

Prioritization skills; able to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks simultaneously

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint (helpful) as well as the ability to design spreadsheets using graphing functions, formulas, and linking cells

Attention to detail

Superior oral and written communication skills

Self-motivated and ability to work both independently and with others

Positive attitude and a team player

 

Requirements:

3-5+ years experience in a finance related industry

4-year business degree (Accounting or Finance)

The ability to work well in a team environment, and great presentation skills.
