Humera has a position available for an Administrative Assistant I with our client in Hopkins, a grocery industry leader, serving customers in stores across the country. The candidate in this position will complete a variety of clerical, administrative, and secretarial duties to support line and/or staff management and in some cases a team of professional staff to allow focus management on department goals and objectives. This is a short term contract assignment that will last approximately 2 months.
Duties:
  • Maintain title records
  • Respond to inquiries in area of responsibility
  • Collect data/information for department use in special projects or reports
  • Check information for accuracy
  • Prepare and balance PO data
  • Answer department phones as needed and route to appropriate area
  • Interaction with different departments
  • FMLA tracking with various projects
  • Payroll
  • Data entry

Requirements
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (primary with Excel spreadsheets
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Self motivated -- self starter
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment (printers, copiers)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high level of professionalism
  • 10 key and typing skills

Schedule:
    Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Mondays will be 7:00 am to 3:00 pm due to payroll processing day. May require some work on Sundays if needed for payroll processing.
